Why Fundraising?

Harrington PTA's Ways & Means Committee conducts fundraisers to generate the cash flow needed to provide classroom support (did you know that every grade level gets money from the PTA for goodies?), enrichment programs (have you caught that Red Ribbon Week assembly?!), and family fun (have you been to the Hip Hop?).

BoxTops for Education - Let the Challenge Begin!

Check your pantry and fridge for BOX TOPS for Education logo products and start clippin' - it's time for the Box Tops Challenge! Send your Box Top label to school with your little Husky.

Teachers, you are welcome to contribute labels, too!

Each week, check the Howler newsletter to see  how the contest is going and how much $$ we are earning for Harrington. BOX TOPS earn 10 cents per logo and are on many food and grocery items, including General Mills cereals, Betty Crocker mixes and snack items, COTTONELLE paper products, Green Giant frozen vegetables, Pillsbury refrigerated breads, and many more.

Yes! It's that easy! Shop at Central Market and we get $$ for our school and the PTA.
 

Target stores have a wonderful program called "Take Charge of Education," and will donate up to 1% of your total purchases to Harrington Elementary. Here’s how it works: Visit Target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school, then use your REDcard whenever you shop. When you use your REDcard (Target® Visa® Credit Card, Target Credit Card or Target Check Card), Target will donate up to 1% of your purchases to Harrington Elementary.

You can look up Harrington by name and zip code, or use our school id number for fast & easy lookup: 100498.

Don’t have a REDcard? It’s easy to apply. Get started in person at any Target store or go to Target.com/redcard. Grandparents, alumni, friends and neighbors are all welcome to participate in the program. The more people we involve, the harder the program works for our school. Kroger's Neighbor To Neighbor program was revamped last year. To earn money for Harrington, click here to download Harrington's Customer Letter. The next time you go shopping at Kroger, present the letter to the cashier along with your KrogerPlus card. That's it! Then every time you shop at Kroger with your enrolled KrogerPlus card, Kroger will donate a percentage of your purchases to Harrington!!
