Howler Submissions
At this time, deadline for submissions for the Howler is each Friday at 5:00 p.m. Info submitted after 5 p.m.on Friday may not be published in the issue distributed the following Thursday.

Here's how the Howler process works:
- Editor receives submissions by 5 pm Friday
- Editor compiles draft by 5 p.m. Sunday
- Principal and PTA President review copy/submit changes by 5 p.m. Monday
- Editor finalizes copy Monday p.m.
- Final copy sent to printer prior to 8 a.m. Tuesday
- Printer returns copies to Harrington Wednesday a.m.
- Assembly team begins assembling go-home packets Wednesday, continues Thursday
- Packets go-home Thursday afternoon in backpack

Information may be submitted for publication on the Harrington PTA website at anytime via email to webmaster@harringtonpta.net.
Harrington Elementary Morning Announcements
Submit information for the Harrington Elementary KDEN morning announcements to Michael.Reed@pisd.edu. The current deadline for submissions is 5pm two days prior to the requested announcement date.
Information included in the Howler newsletter and on the Harrington PTA website must be aligned with National PTA Objectives.
Our Mission:
To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and
To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.
Our Purpose:
To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.
To raise the standards of home life.
To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
